Debbie Maytubby, North Star ES

Debbie Maytubby, a fifth-grade teacher at North Star Elementary, is retiring at the end of the school year. Mrs. Maytubby worked for 18 years outside APS and 16 years with APS. It is clear that her 34 years of teaching makes North Star a better place to learn. Mrs. Maytubby is loved by her students, parents and fellow staff members and will be missed tremendously.

A celebration honoring this incredible teacher will be held from 2:30-4 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, in the North Star library.
