Colleen Herman, ECA/CEC

Colleen Herman, the registrar at the Early College Academy/Career Enrichment Center, is retiring at the end of January.

Ms. Herman has been at ECA/CEC for six years, starting as an attendance secretary and then as registrar.

Before ECA/CEC, she was the ISP secretary for 11 years at Madison Middle School. She also served as a records clerk and switchboard operator at the Stronghurst Complex. She began her career with APS as an educational assistant at Roosevelt Middle School in 1990.

"All in all APS has been good to me and I have enjoyed working with many good employees, supervisors and principals," Ms. Herman said. "Now I'm looking forward to being with family more, especially my grandchildren and husband who retired from being an independent claim adjuster in April 2012."
