Christine Brennan, Van Buren MS

Christine Brennan will retire from APS after 43 years in education. She worked the first half of her career in the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Southern Pueblos Agency, the bulk of time at Zia Pueblo where she received a plaque from the Pueblo of Zia commemorating her years of service.

She has been at Van Buren since 1997, dually certified in special education and regular education, with a master’s degree in speech pathology. During that time she was a founding member of Falcon Crest Academy and taught emotionally disturbed and behaviorally disordered students. As a much-respected and valued member of the Van Buren staff, she will be greatly missed.
