Carolyn Lucero, nurse at Valley HS

Carolyn Lucero, school nurse at Valley High School, is retiring. She began her APS career in 1972, and spent the past 13 years at Valley.

Lucero has also worked at Chaparral, Lavaland, Alameda, Pajarito, Mary Ann Binford, Emerson, Sandia Base and Cochiti elementaries, Child Find and John Adams, Wilson and Washington middle schools.

APS Nursing Services will be celebrating several retirements at its department nurses' meeting on Wednesday, May 1.
