Betsy VanDyke, Madison MS

Betsy VanDyke, the band director at Madison MS, is retiring. She is the recipient of a Golden Apple Award of Excellence in Teaching who has raised the Madison Middle School bands to an advanced level.

There will be a retirement reception for VanDyke at 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 9, in the Madison cafeteria. In addition, Madison will host its annual Concert in the Park at 6:30 p.m. May 15. The concert will feature the four Madison bands at a park just north of the school.
