Becky Steinkuehler, Cibola HS

— filed under:

May 14, 2012

Becky Steinkuehler is retiring after 33 years of teaching. She started her career in Dodge City, Kan., as a government teacher and then moved to Albuquerque in 1980.

She worked at West Mesa High School as a teacher of the gifted for five years and then moved to the social studies department. She especially enjoyed her work on the Pegasus humanities team. She started at Cibola High School in 2001 in the social studies department, where she has spent the past 11 years.

Becky would like to thank all her great friends at Cibola, but a special thanks to her wonderful social studies department. It's a great way to end a career.
