Barbara J. Exley (Edwards), Montezuma ES

Barbara J. Exley (Edwards) has been teaching elementary school for 28 years, beginning her career at Dennis Chavez, moving on to Pajarito and finally serving the students at Montezuma.

She reports that the best thing about teaching has been watching first graders learn how to read. "It has been incredible," she said.

There will be a retirement celebration at Montezuma Elementary in the afternoon of Wednesday, May 16.
