Barb Tiwald, School Nurse, Highland Autism Center

Happy Retirement!

Barb Tiwald is retiring from APS after 14 years in the district as a school nurse. She has worked at Polk Middle School, Highland High School and the District Autism Center. Her passion has always been kids with special needs. She is a school nurse advocate and served at the Union Representative for the Nursing Department. She plans to “sleep in”, travel and work in her garden. All of us at Nursing Services wish her the best in her well-deserved retirement
