Nominate an Outstanding School Volunteer

Three outstanding volunteers will be presented to the school board in June.

The Outstanding School Volunteer Award will be presented to school volunteers who have shown outstanding dedication and commitment to quality education in Albuquerque.

Schools and departments are invited to nominate one volunteer in each of these three categories:

  • Youth
  • Adult
  • Senior (age 62+)

A committee will select the district’s Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award winners using the criteria of:

  • Number of hours of service
  • Years of service
  • Type of contribution
  • Characteristics of services rendered.

The three District Outstanding Volunteer of the Year recipients will be presented to the School Board and audience at a regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting in June and will receive an attractive memento of the occasion.

All nominations will be recognized in the Board agenda.

The application deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, May 8.
