Superintendent Brooks Recognized by EdTech Digest as a Leader, Innovator

APS’s commitment to using Promethean boards in the classroom helps win Brooks an EdTech Digest Award.

Superintendent Winston Brooks received an EdTech Digest Award in the Leaders and Innovators category this week in recognition of the district’s commitment to using Promethean boards in its classrooms.

The awards went to products, services and people playing a truly "transformative" role in education through technology.

Victor Rivero, EdTech Digest editor-in-chief, described the winners as innovative, trendsetting and respected, noting that these products, services and people are moving education forward into the 21st century. “In a crowded field of entries, it’s exciting to acknowledge those who are making the biggest difference,” he said.

A complete list of winners can be found on the EdTech website.
