Resource Nurse Recognized for Immunization Efforts

Christine Long is being honored New Mexico Immunization Coalition

Congratulations to APS resource nurse Christine Long who has been named by the New Mexico Immunization Coalition as an Immunization Champion for New Mexico. She will be recognized at their provider awards dinner on Friday, May 1.

Christine’s efforts in immunization and Flu Mist clinics has helped protect many APS students against preventable disease.

"Please help me in congratulating Christine on this recognition and her efforts in protecting our students," said Laura Case, director of Nursing Services.

Christine has been with APS for six years. Last year, she received the New Mexico Nursing Excellence Award in the category of public health/community/school from the New Mexico Nursing Education Consortium.
