Karen Alarid Named Distinguished Alumna

The executive director of capital is a graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Architecture and Planning.

Karen Alarid, the executive director of capital, has been named a Distinguished Alumna by the University of New Mexico School of Architecture and Planning. Ms. Alarid is a member of the class of 1979.

"This year we received many impressive nominations," said Dean Geraldine Forbes Isais. "The nominations consisted of alumni who are doing marvelous work, making contributions to their profession, economic development and high quality design, planning and education."
