EHS Librarian Heather Dahl Receives Leadership Award

The New Mexico Library Association recognizes Dahl for her advocacy on behalf of school libraries across the state.

The New Mexico Library Association announced that Eldorado High librarian Heather Dahl is this year's recipient of the New Mexico Library Leadership Award. As past chair of the Advocacy for School Libraries Special Interest Group, Dahl advocated for all school libraries at the state legislature and coordinated professional development opportunities for libraries around the state. Nationally, she was recognized for her excellence with an American Association of School Librarians Vision Award, and is active in the Young Adult Library Services Association. She is a frequent presenter at library conferences and is tireless in her pursuit of excellence.
