Coronado Elementary Receives PTA Convention Awards

Parent engagement at Coronado Elementary School swept the state awards at the annual NM PTA State Convention:

  • Students Sabrina Greer (literature) and Alana Armijo (dance choreography) were recognized as NM State Reflections winners
  • Parent Laura Greer was recognized at the NM State Volunteer of the Year
  • Principal Anna Marie Ulibarri was recognized as the NM State Principal of the Year
  • Coronado Elementary School PTA was recognized as the state's most active and amazing “New Kid on the Block”

Congratulations to all Coronado parents for an awesome first year. What a community you have built, what a foundation to build upon, and what a future to look forward to.
