CEC Program Director Named to Nursing Education Advisory Council

Connie Baker will represent practical nursing education in the state.

Connie A. Baker, MSN RN, program director of CEC Practical Nursing program has been appointed to a position on the New Mexico Board of Nursing Education Advisory Council to represent practical nursing education in the state.

As director of the only fully accredited practical nursing program in New Mexico, Mrs. Baker will share her expertise and the expertise of the highly qualified nursing faculty from this successful program with other education council members.

Recommendations made by the Nursing Education Council are sent to the New Mexico Board of Nursing and make an impact on nursing practice in New Mexico. This is the first time the APS  program has had a voice on the education advisory council.
