United Way Contribution Means California Trip for Lucky APS Employee

APS employees who donate at least $5 a paycheck to the United Way by Wednesday, Nov. 26, will be entered into a drawing for a trip to Disneyland or Sea World.

Perhaps this is a reach, but we’ll bet that a trip to Anaheim or San Diego sounds pretty good right about now.

APS employees still have the opportunity to enter a drawing sponsored by GetAwayToday.com as part of the United Way campaign, which concludes Wednesday, Nov. 26. Donors who give at least $5 a paycheck – or a total of $120 to this year’s campaign – have a chance to win a three-day/two-night stay southern California (air fare not included).

Also, the APS school with the highest participation rate will receive a free staff lunch, delivered by APS Superintendent Brad Winter.

Don’t forget – the campaign helps children throughout Albuquerque, and you can help your colleagues by giving to the APS Education Foundation, which supports granting programs throughout the district, including the Horizon, Achieve, Success, Blue Sky and Varsity Grants.
