Vision Quest Teachers Gets Invited to National Summit

Dawn Moore will attend the conference sponsored by PBS during spring break.

Dawn Moore, the numeracy and life skills teacher at Vision Quest, was selected to represent New Mexico teachers at the Digital Summit for the Teacher Core sponsored by the PBS March 14-15 in Alexandria, VA.

Moore, who has participated in local teacher town halls sponsored by PBS, is a member of the newly formed PBS LearningMedia Teaching Core, a free digital media service that provides direct access to more than 20,000 free classroom-ready, curriculum-targeted resources for K-12 educators. PBS LearningMedia builds on the strengths of public media and is designed to improve teacher effectiveness and student achievement.
