Reminder that Pay Dates are Changing

— filed under:

Employees will be paid every two weeks regardless of whether it is a work day

December 8, 2011

The APS Payroll Department is again reminding employees that the dates they will be paid is changing so that staff will be paid every two weeks regardless of whether it is a work day.

“For example this means that instead of being paid on Thursday, Dec. 22—the last regular work day before the semester break—employees will now be paid on Friday, Dec. 30, which is the regularly scheduled pay date,” said APS Payroll Manager Debbie Dunahoo.

The only change to the every two-week schedule will come if the pay date falls on a federal holiday when financial institutions are closed. On those dates, pay will be deposited to employee accounts the day before the closure.

The pay dates for APS employees through the end of the calendar year are: Friday, Dec. 16; and Friday, Dec. 30.

Employees may call the APS Payroll Department at 872-6880 if they have questions.
