Saving resources over the holiday weekend

Believe you can and you're half way there~Theodore Roosevelt

Please do your part to support and fully participate in the APS Energy Wise Energy Conservation Program by following these guidelines before the break:

  • Shut down computers, personal printers, monitors, document cameras, and Promethean Boards, and where possible use the power strip to shut them down.
  • Leave contract copiers and printers on.
  • Ensure all classrooms, offices, gyms, locker rooms, mechanical rooms, restrooms and hall lights are all turned OFF and doors locked.
  • Clean out and unplug microwaves, coffee makers and other small appliances that have a light or (non-vital) clock.
  • Close windows and shut the blinds
  • Set thermostats down to 60°F
