Information for Upcoming Retirees

Dates for final paychecks and benefits.

If you are a July 1, 2014, retiree and have already submitted your retirement packet to the Employee Benefits Office, you will be receiving your finalizing documents from the New Mexico Educational Retirement Board at the end of May or the beginning of June. Once you receive your finalizing documents please fill them out and submit them directly to the NMERB.

If you have medical insurance through APS the following information applies:

Traditional School Contracts

  • Traditional Schools Contracts: 183, 184, 189 - Last check is Aug. 8, you will be billed for your benefits for the 2nd half of August. Benefits end Aug. 31, 2014.
  • Traditional Schools Contracts: 206, 208, 216 - Last check is July 25. Benefits end July 31, 2014.
  • Traditional Schools Contracts: 218, 223, 226, 228 - Last check is July 11, you will be billed for your benefits for the second half of July. Benefits end July 31, 2014. Contracts: 248, 260 - Last check is June 27. Benefits end June 30, 2014.

Alternative School Contracts
(Mary Ann Binford, Susie R. Marmon, Cochiti, Onate, Mark Twain, Navajo, Duranes, Eugene Field)

  • Alternative School Contracts: 183, 184, 189 - Last check is July 25. Benefits end July 31, 2014.
  • Alternative School Contracts: 206-Last check is July 11, you will be billed for your benefits for the second half of July. Benefits end July 31, 2014

C-Schedule Cafeteria Workers
Benefits end Aug. 31, 2014.
