Democracy at Risk: Holocaust and Human Behavior

Facing History

This professional development opportunity addresses building and maintaining democratic societies. Resources guide students to review moral questions raised by history and foster skills in ethical reasoning, critical thinking, empathy, and civic engagement. Free resources will be available.

Who: Intended for middle and high school humanities, social studies, and English/language arts educators

Where: Amy Biehl High School 123 4th St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102

When: January 6, 2018, 8:30 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Cost: $10 to cover breakfast and lunch.
