Employees Get Incentives to Give to the United Way

Pledge $5 a paycheck and possibly win a Southern California vacation.

The APS Employees/United Way campaign is in full swing, and you can help your community by playing a part.

The APS Education Foundation also is providing a little extra motivation.

Donors who give at least $5 per paycheck – or a total of $120 to  this year’s campaign – will be entered in a drawing sponsored by GetAway.com for a Southern California vacation that will include a three-day/two night stay in either Anaheim or San Diego, Calif (air fare not included).

Also, the school that has the highest participation rate will receive a free staff lunch, delivered by APS Superintendent Brad Winter.

Don’t forget – the campaign helps children throughout Albuquerque, and you can help your colleagues by giving to the APS Education Foundation, which supports granting programs throughout the district, including the Horizon, Achieve, Success, Blue Sky and Varsity Grants.
