Employee Pay Dates Changing

The APS Payroll Department has announced that the dates when employees will be paid are changing.

“Employees will be paid on their regularly scheduled pay date every two weeks regardless of whether or not it is a work day for APS,” said APS Payroll Manager Debbie Dunahoo.

“For example this means that instead of being paid on Thursday, Dec. 22—the last regular work day before the semester break—employees will now be paid on Friday, Dec. 30, which is the regularly scheduled pay date,” Dunahoo explained.

The only change to the every two-week schedule will come if the pay date falls on a federal holiday when financial institutions are closed. On those dates, pay will be deposited to employee accounts the day before the closure.

The pay dates for APS employees through the end of the calendar year are: Friday, Nov. 4; Friday, Nov. 18; Friday, Dec. 2; Friday, Dec. 16; and Friday, Dec. 30.

Employees may call the APS Payroll Department at 872-6880 if they have questions.
