APS Teachers Celebrate Wedding at Isotopes Game

Heidi Cummings and Doug Dudley, rabid baseball fans, were featured in Sunday's Albuquerque Journal sharing a kiss in the upper deck.

Heidi Cummings, a teacher at Lowell Elementary School, and Doug Dudley, a PE teacher at Navajo Elementary, held their wedding reception at Isotopes Park Saturday, Aug. 25, catching the attention of an Albuquerque Journal photographer. Their photo was featured in the sports section the next day.

The couple are die-hard baseball fans as well as APS educators. Heidi is the daughter of Armijo Elementary School Principal Rose White and the niece of Highland High Activities Director Pat Arguelles.
