Employee Health Fair to be held Oct. 21-22

Learn about benefits, get health care screenings and have fun.

The annual APS Employee Health Fair will be held Oct. 21-22 at City Centre, 6400 Uptown Blvd. NE, for employees to talk to benefit specialists, get their annual immunizations and health screenings, receive mammograms, and take part in other activities from chair massages to blood donation.

While switch/open enrollment will be open from Oct. 17-24, employees can learn about the 2015 Benefits Plan during the health fair from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Arroyo Chico Room.

Flu, pneumonia, and tdap (which protects against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis/whooping cough) immunizations will be administered from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday. Immunizations will also be available Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Mammograms conducted by Assured Imaging will be available by appointment from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call 888-233-6121.

Benefit presentations by Presbyterian Health Plan, BlueCross/BlueShield of NM, and ASI will be held Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Heath Fair exhibits from benefit providers, non-profits and screening services will be held Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Activities during the Health Fair will also include chair massages, aromatherapy, fitness activities, and blood donation. Exhibits will also have raffles and vendors including Blender Bike. 

Additional parking will be available at the Coronado Mall south parking lot.
