What's New for 2015?

Medical Plan
There were significant plan design changes that went into effect in 2014. For 2015, APS is not making any changes to our medical plan except slight enhancements due to federal and state regulations.

There will be no increase in employee premium contributions for the medical plan for 2015 as long as employees and their spouses/partners completed their health screenings by Sept. 30, 2014.

The medical plan will include an expanded autism disorder benefit to include applied behavioral analysis

Prescription Drug Plan
Mail Order co-pays will increase effective Jan. 1, 2015:

  • Generic to $20, Preferred Brand to $55, Non-Preferred Brand to $120
  • An out-of-pocket maximum will be implemented on the prescription drug plan: $4,200 for employee only coverage and $6,150 for employee plus dependent(s) coverage

Dental Plan
3.37% increase in employee premium contributions

Vision Plan
2.65% increase in employee premium contributions

These increases, depending on your plan, range from as little as 3 cents to no more than a dollar a paycheck.
