APS Employee Assistance Program Offering Workshops

The sessions cover a variety of life topics.

The APS Employee Assistance Program is offering monthly workshops on a variety of topics throughout the school year designed to help you deal with life. All workshops will be held at the Alice and Bruce King Education Complex, 6400 Uptown Blvd. NE (City Centre).

The topic for the first workshop of the school year is Assertiveness and Communication Skills. It will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, in the Special Education Conference Room, 210 West.

Learn to communicate effectively and confidently. Assertiveness skills can help you communicate your thoughts, feelings, and opinions in a way that will earn respect for you without hurting or alienating others.

To reserve a seat or for more information, contact Nancy Valdez at valdez_n@aps.edu.
