Annual Employee Health Fair Held Oct. 22-23

Employees can get flu and whooping cough shots, massages and mammograms; learn more about their benefits; meet with providers and more.

The annual APS Employee Heath Fair will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 22-23, at City Centre, 6400 Uptown Blvd. NE. APS employees are encouraged to get a flu shot, talk to benefits specialists, visit with various vendors that provide wellness services and get a health screening, mammogram and chair massage.

Activities include:

  • Benefit presentations by Presbyterian, Lovelace, Express Scripts, Davis Vision, Delta Dental, Standard Insurance, New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union, LifeSecure (which provides long-term care insurance) and ASI Flex. The presentations are from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the West Rio Conference Rooms. The presentations also are posted.
  • Flu shots and Tdap immunizations (which protect against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis or whooping cough) offered from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday in the Milne Board Room.
  • Mammograms conducted by Assured Imaging Women’s Wellness, a provider of mobile digital mammography, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. both days. To schedule an appointment or for more information, call 888-233-6121.
  • Health Fair exhibits by vendors and non-profits as well as screening services from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday. The Health Fair also will include chair massages, blood pressure checks, vision screenings and a blender bike.
  • Open/switch enrollment both days from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. in the Arroyo Chico Room. Get more information on switching enrollment.

Overflow parking is available in Coronado's south parking lot.
