The Special Education Department is hosting a training especially for parents. It will offer a basic overview of the Special Education process. Here are the details:

Purpose
The intended outcome of this meeting is for parents to gain a basic understanding of the Special Education process including:
- Steps outlined in IDEA
- Role of APS in carrying out the steps
- Family involvement within each step
Information will be presented by Directors and Instructional Managers of the APS Special Education Department.
