Certification Program
The Online Learning department has designed a professional development program to support current teachers who are seeking to become online learning instructors.
This program has four components with the first three parts requiring participants to be online students in Introduction to Blackboard (the learning content management system), Theory and Practice of Blended Online Learning, and Instructional Design. The last part is the professional learning community for online teaching and learning.
The 2 day Blackboard Basics class is mandatory before commencing the certification program.
Upon successful completion of the course work, participants will receive certification from this department.
