APS 2010-11 School Calendar Approved

The Albuquerque Public Schools Board of Education on Wednesday approved the traditional school calendar for the 2010-11 school year. The calendar is below.

The APS Board of Education will consider year-round school calendars later this fall.

Albuquerque Public Schools
2010-2011 Traditional Calendar

  • August 16: First Day of School
  • September 6: Labor Day Holiday
  • October 8: Fall Break
  • November 11: Veterans' Day Holiday
  • November 24-26: Thanksgiving Holidays
  • December 20-31: Winter Break
  • January 1, 2011: New Year’s Day
  • January 17: MLK Jr. Day Holiday
  • February 21: President’s Day Holiday
  • March 14-18: Spring Break
  • April 22: Vernal Holiday
  • May 27: Last Day of School
  • May 30: Memorial Day
  • May 31-June 3: Snow Make-up Days (if necessary)
