Help your Student Learn Math

Many APS schools are now using new math programs. The National Science Foundation funded the development of all of the programs. These standards-based programs included the latest research in how children think and learn.

To help parents understand these math programs so they can better work with their children, information is available at these websites:

Everyday Mathematics, used at 64 APS elementary schools
Math Investigations, used at 21 APS elementary schools
Connected Mathematics, used at 20 APS middle schools
