Wilson Holds First Mobile Food Pantry

Dozens of volunteers help distribute food to those in need.

Wilson Middle School held its first mobile food pantry this weekend.  Dozens of volunteers from several community churches, the veterans center, parents and students helped distribute food.

Community members were able to get groceries that included bread, fresh fruits, vegetables, and other important pantry items.  The program is made possible through a grant and Roadrunner Food Bank.

The next mobile food pantry will take place on Saturday, April 2.  Any one who would like to volunteer should show up at the school at 8 a.m.
