Watch for The Core on Wednesdays

The APS newsletter features good happenings in our schools and community.

Got good news to share? Let us know! Email The Core editor Johanna King at king_joh@aps.edu.  We love pictures and videos that help tell positive stories about our students and schools.

We get how important it is to stay connected, which is why we’d like to introduce you to The Core.

The Core is the weekly parent/community newsletter from Albuquerque Public Schools that focuses on the fundamental center of public education – our students and our schools. It is emailed to more than 70,000 people on Wednesday mornings during the school year.

The Core also is part of the APS website, providing a glimpse of the many good things that happen every day in our classrooms and gyms, on our stages and playgrounds, in our neighborhoods and communities.

Stories featured in The Core also are often posted to the APS Facebook, Twitter and Instagram sites.

We hope The Core becomes a part of your weekly routine as we help you stay connected to your public schools.

If you're not yet getting The Core, sign up here.
