Seeking Input on Proposed 2018-19 Calendar

APS is considering an Aug. 13 start date; the last day of school would be May 22.

Note: This has been updated to include the correct calendar. We apologize for any confusion.

The proposed 2018-19 school calendar has students returning to class on Monday, Aug. 13. Teachers and school staff would return a week earlier on Aug. 6. Winter break would stretch from Dec. 24-Jan. 8, with teachers returning on Jan. 7 for training. Spring break would be March 25-29. The last day of school would be Wednesday, May 22.

The suggested calendar was developed by a committee made up of community members, principals, union representatives and administrators.
