Summer High School Registration, Tuition Rules Change

Students now have to register at APS headquarters and pay tuition in full at the time of registration.

The process for registering and paying tuition for summer school have changed.

School counselors will no longer register the students for summer school. Instead, students who want or need to take a summer school class will meet with their school counselor to get a pre-registration form.

This pre-registration form will serve as the student's "ticket" to get in line at the APS administration building, 6400 Uptown Blvd. NE, to register for their class(es) beginning May 2. In addition, tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration.

Registration for students without a ticket will be delayed.

Summer school registration:

  • 8-4 p.m.
  • Every Saturday in May
  • June 1-3, 5-6

Some students may be eligible for discounted or free tuition  To determine if your child is eligible, fill out an application for free or reduced-price meals.
