Students Advise Superintendent

High school students from across the district give Supt. Reedy input on the Academic Master Plan.

Students from across the district met with the superintendent this week and will continue to do so as part of Supt. Reedy’s Student Advisory Council.  The council is made up of two representatives from each comprehensive high school as well as a high school representative from each school of choice.

At their first meeting, the students provided Reedy with input on the Academic Master Plan. The superintendent says her goal is to help students understand the complexities of the district while gathering their input on everything from policies and budget to issues they deem important.

The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council (SuperSAC) will meet monthly.
