Student of the Week Estevan Garcia

5th grader at Lew Wallace Elementary School. Week of Sept. 17, 2018

What Estevan’s teacher says about him: Estevan is a joy to teach. He has a love of learning and enjoys all aspects of school. He especially loves digging into a challenging math problem and sharing his thinking and processes with his peers. He gets along with all students and respects adults. Estevan works hard and always does his best.

What the office staff has to say: He is so caring and smart. Every year he helps put on a jiu-jitsu assembly for our entire school!

What his parents have to say: He loves Lew Wallace because it’s small and he gets to know everyone. He has attended Lew Wallace since kindergarten.

Favorite Subject: Math

Hobbies and Activities: Baseball, piano, jiu-jitsu, four square.
