Student of the Week Daniel Brockington

Senior at Del Norte High School

Daniel's school experience: "I moved to Albuquerque in June of 2015. Before that I went to Ryan High School in Denton Texas. I’ve always been academically strong and I’ve always taken music courses. Starting in my junior year I took my first sports medicine class. I’ve loved sports medicine ever since."

Favorite class: "My favorite course has been sports medicine by far! I love it because it’s helping people, which I enjoy, and it is working with people which I also enjoy!"

Plans for the future: "I plan to go to UNM next year and I plan to take sports medicine classes. I would love to become an athletic trainer for an NHL team or for a college, maybe even for a high school."
