UPDATE: Shelter-in-Place Lifted at Monte Vista ES - Thursday, November 21

UPDATE: As of 4:40 p.m., the shelter-in-place at Monte Vista Elementary School has been lifted without incident. There are no students remaining at the school.


UPDATE: Buses will run as normal. Parents can pick up their children on the NE side of the school.


As of 2:10 p.m., Monte Vista Elementary School has been put into a shelter-in-place due to police activity in the area. APD and APS Police are at the school to ensure the safety of the students and staff.
