Tune In for 2nd Annual Budget Call-In Show

6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, on KANW 89.1 FM

Last year for the first time, APS hosted a call-in radio show to get public input on the district's operational budget. It was a smashing success, with dozens of people calling in with questions and suggestions and hundreds more following the discussion on social media.

We're doing it again this year.

Tune in to KANW 89.1 FM on Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 6-7 p.m. APS Superintendent Raquel Reedy, Board of Education President Dr. David Peercy, Chief Operations Officer Scott Elder and Chief Finance Officer Tami Coleman will be on hand to take calls, answer questions and explain what we know about funding for our schools.

Call 253-0000 with your question or comment.

If you prefer, you can follow along and post questions on Facebook.

"We know time is precious and people are being pulled in every direction. But we also know people care deeply about public education and want to be heard. Our hope is that this convenient approach to gathering public input will give more people an opportunity to weigh in," said Supt. Reedy.
