Dismissal Schedule for Last Day of School

Thursday is a half-day for students; Friday will be a work day for teachers and educational assistants.

Like the calendar says, Thursday, May 25, is the last day of school for Albuquerque Public Schools students.

Friday, May 26, will be a work day for teachers and educational assistants. This day satisfies their contractual obligation. Staff can use this day to complete school shut-down procedures and perhaps prepare for next school year. 

Students will be dismissed early on the last day of school. Here are the dismissal times:

All high schools dismiss at 11 a.m. Breakfast will be served, but lunch won't unless arrangements are made with the cafeteria manager.

All middle schools including George I. Sanchez but not Roosevelt dismiss at 11:30 a.m. Roosevelt dismisses with A. Montoya Elementary at 11 a.m. Breakfast and lunch will be served. 

Elementary schools dismiss at various times.

Elementary schools that dismiss at 11 a.m. Breakfast will be served, but lunch won't unless other arrangements are made with the cafeteria manager.
