39 schools will host the elementary summer program.

APS funding for the state-sponsored summer program known as K-3+ was cut nearly in half. We didn't learn of the cutback until about a week ago and have been scrambling since to determine which schools will and won't offer the program, so families can make summer plans.

That list was shared with the Board of Education and schools Wednesday night.

We're sharing it here, too.

The schools that will continue to offer the program this summer were deemed the most in need. It's important to note that these programs have limited spots for students in kindergarten through third grade. Check with you child's school for more information.
