Celebration for Jefferson Mid-School Music Building

Students, families and community members applaud the new facilities and renovations.

Jefferson Middle School staff, students, and community members are celebrating the new music building. Half of the students at Jefferson are enrolled in the hugely popular music program, and they now take those classes in a 9,766-square-foot building that includes:

  • 3 music classrooms for orchestra, band and rock n’ rhythm programs
  • Music practice space
  • Music storage

The $6.9 million project which was completed last summer also includes a renovated art classroom, an adaptive PE classroom and two science classrooms as well as an improved parent drop-off loop and new rubberized track for athletics and PE.

Jefferson Middle School is located at 712 Girard Blvd NE.
