Family Science, Robotics Camp Set for July 29-31

Free STEM camp at Atrisco Heritage

[Albuquerque, NM]— A free family science camp for students and their parents is set for July 29-31 at Atrisco Heritage Academy High School.

“Science is Your World/Ciencia es tu Mundo” will demonstrate various science and technology concepts, including robotics, to students in grades 4 through high school.

“Parents and grandparents are encouraged to attend with their student, but they are not required to attend,” said Valerie Kovach, a teacher at Atrisco Heritage who is coordinating the camp. “We thought it would be fun for parents, especially those with younger students.”

To register, e-mail Kovach at or call the school at 243-1458 and leave a message for Kovach. Advance registration is required.
