Fall Sports Season Kicks Off
Fans can follow their favorite teams using a scheduling tool implemented by the APS Athletics Department.
August 24, 2012
The high school fall sports season officially begins with games scheduled around town for boys and girls soccer and football during the week of Aug. 27. Volleyball games and cross country meets will soon follow.
Fans can follow their favorite sports and teams by using a scheduling tool implemented by the APS Athletics Department called Tandem for Schools.
Sign up and you can:
- Find all the athletic schedule information you need in one place
- Integrate athletic schedules with other tools like Cozi, Outlook, Google or iCal
- See pictures of past events (even upload your own)
- Read the latest school news
- and much more!
To sign up, go to the APS Athletics website and click on Athletic Schedules. You can get a district-wide calendar, one specific to your school or one for a team.
From the calendar, click on the “sign in” link at the top right corner of the page and register for a free Tandem account. You’ll receive a confirmation email.
Click on the link in your email and complete your registration.
You can also get notices through your Twitter and Facebook accounts, text message reminders, RSS news feeds and more.
Athletics has posted a 3-minute tutorial to help use the scheduling tool.
The scheduling tool is available for all APS middle and high schools sports.
