Congratulations to State Champions La Cueva, Sandia, and Volcano Vista

We're proud to congratulate the La Cueva Boys and Sandia Girls Class 5A State Basketball Champion teams, and the Volcano Vista Class 4A State Wrestling Champion team!

The La Cueva boys basketball team played their winning game on prom night, cheered on by classmates in tuxedos and prom dresses.

The Sandia girls team played in front of a crowd of 14,000, and provided them with a particularly exciting game.

The Volcano Vista wrestlers received their first ever first-place trophy in their championship tournament.

Congratulations to all three teams. Well done!
