Board of Ed Appreciative of Supportive Community

On behalf of the APS Board of Education, Dr. Donald Duran expresses thanks to voters who supported the bond/mil levy.

“This is important for our students, teachers and the community. We want to thank everyone who took part in this process, including our teachers, students, community and business leaders, and of course every voter who filled in the “yes” bubble”

We know, believe me, we know, we have some work to do to regain the public’s confidence in us, but we’re grateful this community put concerns for our kids ahead of all else.

We can move forward now without having to worry that students will be forced to learn in substandard buildings or fall behind because we can’t keep up with technology.

Again, we want to say thank you. You have our word we will do everything we can to guarantee this was the right decision.”

- Dr. Don Duran, APS Board of Education President
