APS is Hiring!

We have hundreds of openings for lots of different jobs. Apply online.

Albuquerque Public Schools is hiring for a variety of positions for the 2018-19 school year, from teachers and principals to custodians and maintenance workers to bus drivers and secretaries.

“Albuquerque Public Schools is a great place to work,” said APS Human Resources Chief Todd Torgerson. “Not only do you earn a decent wage, get a really good healthcare plan and retirement benefits, you also play a role in educating and enhancing the lives of future generations.” 

APS still needs about 180 elementary, middle and high school teachers and another 200 special education teachers. In addition, it has about 90 openings for educational assistants.

Other job openings include principals, custodians, maintenance and operations workers, secretaries, nurses, bus drivers, computer techs, counselors and coaches.

And the district is looking for qualified substitute teachers and educational assistants.
