APS partners with Albuquerque the Magazine and Lovelace Health System.

August 8, 2012

For the third straight year, Albuquerque Public Schools in partnership with Albuquerque the Magazine and Lovelace Health System produced

100,000 wall calendars for families at no cost to the district.

Copies of the 2012-2013 school calendar were distributed to all APS schools and departments earlier this month and are being sent home with families.

Check out this digital version of the 2012-2013 APS calendar.

This is the third year Lovelace has sponsored the calendar, and the fourth year Albuquerque the Magazine has designed and printed it. The cost of producing enough calendars for all APS students and families is nearly $40,000 a year.

“Once again, we want to thank our business partners for allowing us to provide this great communication tool to our families that we couldn’t afford otherwise,” said APS Superintendent Winston Brooks. “Albuquerque the Magazine and Lovelace Health System have always been great supporters of APS and we appreciate their commitment to our students and families.”

“Lovelace is proud to sponsor the APS school calendars to not only support APS employees, families and students, but also to promote health and wellness throughout the community,” said Serena Lyons, marketing director for Lovelace.

Extra copies of the calendar are available at APS headquarters, 6400 Uptown Blvd. NE.
